Grief is a journey, an ever changing and painful process. It can isolate you and make you feel more lonely than one could ever imagine. That’s where this blog comes in. It’s my way of giving grief a voice and writing about what it’s like to be a young widow with two teenagers.

I lost my son and know about grief and loss . . . on another level than you but no matter the level . . . It has only been through God’s mercy and grace that I am able to move forward. I pray God will give you the strength you need each day and put a new song of trust in your heart. I pray God will bless you and your children.

I’m so sorry for your loss, Joni. I agree with you, grief needs a voice and it helps to share with those who understand.

I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like for you. Such sadness. Writing it out can be very healing and cathartic. I wish you and your children much love and blessings, trusting that the memories of times you shared together will help to sustain and nurture you all. Thank you so much for the follow.
